Hello there. I’m Maddie, the photographer behind MNM Photography. My oldest memories of photography include a disposable camera with ice cream cones on it. Now, I’m a tad obsessed. I carry my camera with me everywhere, and I’m almost always saving up for new camera accessories.

MNM Photography doesn’t have a specific “birth date.” I like to say that that my passion for capturing memories just spilled over and made a business. I really began realizing this potential when I was contacted by a family, who had seen my photos from a church event, and wanted family photos taken. In 2011, I did three organized shoots – all of which were of families. And all three people asked me without having seen anything more than my blog.

This isn’t your typical photography business, partly because I’m not a typical teenage girl. I have a heart that is overflowing with a love of Jesus and I feel called to serve His world. Part of all the money I get, both from the blog design business, 2X Design, that I run with my sister, and from photography goes into a savings account for future missions and ministry opportunities. Another reason that I’m not your average photographer is because I’ve yet to do any shoot other than families. Yet, I’d ask you not to see this as limited experience. Right now, the Lord has me in a season of preparation, and I am taking advantage of every opportunity to learn everything I possibly can. That being said, if you want photos that are outside of my range of expertise, I would be ecstatic to take the opportunity to not only give you special, memorable photos, but also to learn about another genre of photography. I am constantly watching youtube videos, reading advice from other photographers, and browsing portfolios to learn all I can about this craft I so dearly loved.

One thing’s for sure, my photography is inspired by my love of Jesus, with a passionate desire to capture candid moments.
